LANGKAWI, MALAYSIA – June 2024 - The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi welcomes Chef Moreno Gianfranco Miotto to the team as the resort’s new Executive Chef, leading the culinary team and the four dining outlets: Horizon, The Beach Grill, Langkawi Kitchen and Hai Yan. Born in Canada, Chef Moreno started his career in independent restaurants, honing his skills in Italian cuisine before joining the hotel industry in 2007, as executive chef at the Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco in Tuscany, Italy, before moving back to Canada where he continued to build his career as an executive chef.
