April 10, 2015 - SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS - San Antonio hotelier Rusty Wallace has been promoted to Regional Vice President, Operations for Omni Hotels & Resorts. Rusty joined Omni Hotels in 2002 and in 2006 moved to San Antonio as Managing Director of Omni La Mansión del Rio as well as Mokara Hotel & Spa . He was promoted to Area Managing Director in 2013. As part of his new role, Rusty will oversee the operations of Omni's properties in San Antonio, Austin and Corpus Christi.
