On 1 October 2022, General Manager Tim Henrik Göhring and his team welcomed the first guest, marking the official opening of newly built IntercityHotel Herford. The hotel has 135 guest rooms, a breakfast restaurant and bar, not to mention three meeting rooms boasting 90 square meters. On 18 August 2022, the MAXX Hotel Aalen team celebrated the official opening of its hotel together with Frederick Brütting, Lord Mayor of the city of Aalen.
