Hansen, AIA, ISHC At last year's National Association of Sports Commission's Sports Event Symposium held in Oklahoma City, the policy of stay to play was identified as one of the major challenges facing the sports travel industry. Stay to play is an increasingly popular policy among traveling sports groups, under which organizers of the event require event participants to use one of a selected group of hotels.
