IHG® will soon debut its boutique luxury brand Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants® in the UK with the opening of Kimpton Fitzroy London late October 2018. Kimpton Fitzroy London, the first UK hotel for the brand, will open in London's Bloomsbury neighbourhood in an iconic heritage building which originally opened in Russell Square in 1898. MIAMI, May 3, 2018 -- Starwood Capital Group ("Starwood"), a leading global private investment firm, announced today that a controlled affiliate has agreed to sell a portfolio of 14 U.K. hotels that form part of The Principal Hotel Company to Foncière des Régions (through its subsidiary dedicated to hotel real estate, Foncière des Murs). Terms of the transaction, which is expected to be completed in June 2018, were not disclosed.
