Cancun, Mexico – May 20, 2019 – NIZUC Resort & Spa has hired Alicia Acevedo as Spa Director to oversee all activities surrounding the NIZUC Spa, the first ESPA-branded spa in the Mexican Caribbean.
With over a decade of hospitality experience, Acevedo has served as Spa Manager at luxury resorts around Mexico. Her experience includes opening the Ikal Spa at InterContinental Presidente Cozumel Resort & Spa, opening the Zazil Spa at The Westin Cozumel and serving as Spa Manager at The Resort at Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas.

Acevedo will oversee all aspects of operations at NIZUC Spa, including managing staff, overseeing facility maintenance, creating marketing and promotions, employee training and more.
