Rosewood Le Guanahani St. Barth, the legendary island escape on Saint Barthélemy, is pleased to announce four key appointments to their accomplished team of associates—Director of Sales and Marketing, Antoine Alsayah; Spa Director, Carole Primat; Director of Food & Beverage, Brice Favreau and Director of Rooms, Sybille Piquard. Reopened in 2021 under the Rosewood Hotels & Resorts umbrella following its closure in 2017, the resort has cemented its place as a top luxury destination for discerning travelers on the island of Saint Barthélemy, and across the Caribbean. These appointments will help to continue the resort’s growing legacy as it launches new bespoke partnerships and programming throughout 2024.

As the new Director of Sales and Marketing, Antoine Alsayah will play a vital role in the property’s commercial success by spearheading and executing innovative sales and marketing strategies across the property’s vast offerings. Fluent in both English and French, Antoine’s diverse background and strong experience in the luxury hospitality space will be instrumental as the resort approaches its third year.  Antoine joins Rosewood Le Guanahani St. Barth with over 6 years of experience in the luxury hospitality space and Caribbean market, having worked in global hotel brand sales in top destinations such as Anguilla and Turks & Caicos. Most recently, Antoine served as the director of sales and marketing for Zemi Beach House, Anguilla where he managed the sales and marketing operations of the hotel. Prior to this role, he held the positions of director of sales and marketing at Wymara, Turks & Caicos and business development director of Sloane International Trading.

Rosewood Le Guanahani St. Barth is also proud to recognize the promotion of Sybille Piquard who will be the resort’s new Director of Rooms. Part of the 2021 pre-opening team as Front of House Manager, progressing into Assistant Director of Rooms, in this new role Sybille will oversee all activities of the department and implement the rigorous daily quality process at the resort. Sybille boasts more than 15 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry. Previously, she has assisted in several hotel openings including the Shangri-La properties in both Paris and London and Hotel Lutetia in Paris.

As Spa Director, Carole Primat will be a crucial member of the team and will oversee operations at the resort’s Sense Spa, including the development of distinctive programming that is both representative of St. Barts and incorporates new and cutting-edge techniques in wellness. With over 30 years of experience in the wellness space as a business owner and consultant, Carole Primat is a virtuoso in her field. After returning to school at Ecole Francais Morice where she studied cosmetics, coaching and the art of massage, she opened her own urban spa in Aix en Provence. Most recently, Carole served as the Director of Spa and Wellness Concepts at Millésime. Prior to this role, she served as a spa consultant for Kaoma Consulting, where she was tapped by hotel groups throughout the world to aid in the development of their wellness concepts.

Brice joins the Rosewood team with over 10 years of experience in the food and beverage sector. Born and raised in the village of Chail, on the west side of France, Brice fell in love with the culinary world at a young age, which led him to study culinary arts in the nearby city of La Rochelle. He then went on to perfect his culinary skills, splitting his time between two sought-after destinations—the Mediterranean by The Sea of Corsica and the mountains of Megève. Over the course of his career, he has worked at Disney World in Orlando’s Chef de France restaurant under the acclaimed Bocuse group in addition to on the food and beverage team at the Four Seasons Bora Bora and the prestigious Brando, located in the Atoll of Tetiaroa. Brice has been forever drawn to areas of the world with ties back to his French roots, and this passion is what ultimately brought him to St. Barthélemy where he has been appointed food and beverage director of Rosewood Le Guanahani St. Barth. In this role, he will bring his keen eye for French cuisine to the resort’s culinary outpost of Beach House St. Barth, while also keeping the destination’s robust culinary offerings top of mind.
