Fanny Martin has been appointed spa director of Sense®, A Rosewood Spa at Rosewood Le Guanahani for its November 2021 debut, following a four-year closure and extensive resort-wide renovation. In her new role, Martin will lead the day-to-day operations and overall vision of Sense®, A Rosewood Spa, developing innovative spa and wellness services to enhance the overall guest experience. Under her leadership, the Sense Spa’s new programming will fuse the island’s local approach to wellness with Rosewood Le Guanahani’s storied history.
“I am excited to join the incredible Rosewood Le Guanahani team, and assume this position at Sense®, A Rosewood Spa,” said Martin. “My vision is to develop the Sense Spa as a complete wellness destination for guests and create tailor-made programming that touches on all aspects of wellness, from fitness to spa treatments to workshops, curated to balance the senses in harmony with nature.”
Martin brings 18 years of experience to her role as spa director at Rosewood Le Guanahani. A seasoned spa professional, she has managed and led teams in ultra-luxury resorts around the globe including Hotel Christopher St. Barth, Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora and Hotel Barriére in Paris. Most recently, Martin served as the spa manager at Royal Mansour and Selman Marrakech, overseeing the spa’s operations and maintaining high-quality standards and guest operations, while also developing new and locally inspired wellness experiences.
The new Sense®, A Rosewood Spa at Rosewood Le Guanahani St. Barth is a sanctuary of simplicity and purity, helming four treatment rooms, two couples’ suites and one hydrotherapy area. The spa’s treatment menu, inspired by the destination’s natural resources, showcases time-honored practices and traditional healing methods, and solidifies Sense as the perfect place for travelers to nurture the mind, body and soul.
