The new director will focus on product expansion with Visual Matrix’s recent acquisition of LodgingControls and its highly successful MOP product.
Richardson, Texas – April 7, 2022 – Visual Matrix, an industry-leading provider of advanced hospitality operating system technology, today announced it has named Lauren Crocket as director of client experience, with a focus on its newly acquired Mobile Operating Platform (MOP) for staff operations automation.
Crocket brings close to 10 years of management experience, most recently with La Quinta by Wyndham in Chicago, and both Austin and San Antonio, Texas. Previously, she served in front office and operations management roles for Marriott’s Residence Inn and SpringHill Suites, as well as Holiday Inn Express in the Greater Grand Rapids area of Michigan.
With her extensive property-level experience, including front desk, housekeeping and operations management, and her hands-on knowledge of the MOP product and its multiple uses for more than six years, Crocket is in a unique position to work directly with hotel properties to help them realize the benefits that MOP can provide for improved staff communication and task automation.
“We are very excited to have Lauren on our team,” said Georgine Muntz, CEO of Visual Matrix. “Her experience working directly with MOP at the property level is invaluable, and she will be able to provide our hospitality clients with a real sense of how this highly customizable product can easily integrate with their existing or new PMS solutions to benefit their organizations.”
More than 3,000 hotel properties across 30+ countries work with Visual Matrix to increase efficiency and drive revenue. With its recent acquisition of LodgingControls, the widely used MOP product is a perfect complement to its PMS offerings. By adding MOP to its portfolio, whether as a stand-alone automation tool, or as an added platform to its PMS, Visual Matrix now offers hoteliers a complete hospitality operating system.
“Visual Matrix has a very exciting year ahead, and Lauren’s new position is part of that,” said Muntz. “Through our continued product development and some exciting new initiatives over the next few months, our team will continue to bring the best of property and operations management tools to the hospitality industry and our hotel clients around the world.”
