PARK CITY, Utah (July 7, 2022)Montage Deer Valley is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Hee as executive chef of the luxury alpine resort. Hee arrives in Park City with more than two decades of experience in casual and fine dining restaurant development and operations. In his new role, Hee will oversee all culinary operations at the resort, including seven food and beverage outlets, in-room dining, private dining, and banqueting for 60,000-sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.

Prior to joining Montage Deer Valley, Hee served as executive chef at Famous Foods Street Eats at Resorts World Las Vegas, where he opened and oversaw 15 restaurant concepts in the first-ever food hall combining Michelin-rated Asian Hawker stalls with James Beard and other award-winning domestic chefs. There, Hee was charged with hiring and training more than 120 cooks and five sous chefs, sourcing more than 100 exotic Asian ingredients, and leading all research and development ranging from Michelin Plate award winning Hainan chicken to a Nashville hot fried chicken concept by Marcus Samuelsson.

Additionally, Hee held the role of director of culinary development and operations at Elite Brand Hospitality/MH Frederick/Ascend Hospitality Group in Las Vegas, where over the course of four years, he opened more than 10 restaurants, designed kitchens, and consulted with prominent food and beverage corporations. Prior to that, Hee Joined Gordon Ramsay as Executive Chef of Gordon Ramsay Steak, Las Vegas.

Born and raised in Oahu, Hawaii, Hee studied business at the University of Hawaii while discovering his love of food and passion for cooking.
