ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (May 30, 2024) —  Heritage Hotels & Resorts, the largest independent hotel group in New Mexico, announces the appointment of Sean Sinclair to Executive Chef of Level 5, a rooftop restaurant and lounge located at the hotel group’s AAA Four Diamond Hotel Chaco (2000 Bellamah Ave. NW) in Albuquerque. Sinclair has cultivated a distinguished culinary career that blends his passion for his home state with his extensive training and experience leading kitchens across the U.S. for the past decade.

“Chef Sinclair has been an integral part of the Heritage family leading various culinary teams and efforts across our portfolio for over 6 years now. Most recently of which are our Sante Fe property, The Inn and Spa at Loretto, and our Albuquerque property, The Clyde Hotel,” says Adrian Perez, President of Heritage Hotels & Resorts. “We’re excited to keep Sean in the family by bringing him over to Level 5, which has been the crown jewel of the Albuquerque dining scene since it opened in 2017. I have no doubt that our community and guests will be impressed with Chef’s plans for Level 5. We are beckoning in a new era for New Mexico’s culinary scene that will be unmatched, much like our rooftop views.”

A native of Tijeras, New Mexico, Chef Sinclair graduated from Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in Portland, Oregon before honing his skills in Portland’s top-tier restaurants. Under Sinclair’s leadership, Albuquerque’s Farm & Table was named the best restaurant in Albuquerque by USA Today. Before returning to his home state permanently, Sinclair also worked at The Inn at Little Washington, a heavily decorated restaurant in Virginia.

“I’m excited to be a part of Hotel Chaco. Albuquerque is a place that I hold near and dear to my heart,” says Chef Sinclair. “Level 5 is always listed amongst the top places to eat in the city, and I don’t think this is just because of the stunning Sandia Mountain views. We have an incredible culinary and bar program, and our guests expect to be wowed. I’m excited to share the next phase of Level 5 soon.”

Level 5 offers guests an unbelievable rooftop experience with a refined atmosphere where diners can enjoy Albuquerque nightlife with magnificent panoramic views of the mountain and downtown skyline. Accompanied by creative culinary options, Level 5’s focus is on culturally alive, community-fused and environmentally sound cuisine that showcases local and regional ingredients.
