Lake AtitlĆ”n, Guatemala ā October 2016: Casa PalopĆ³, a private home turned luxury boutique hotel in the Guatemalan highlands, is pleased to welcome back Jennifer Cornwell as General Manager. Cornwell previously served as Casa PalopĆ³ās Resident Manager from 2004-2012.
In her position, Cornwell will oversee all hotel services and staff development including maintaining guest satisfaction, profitability, and employee morale at Casa PalopĆ³, Guatemalaās first and only Relais & Chateaux property. With experience in event planning, Cornwell will also take on the responsibility of supervising, coordinating and delegating new hotel programming and activities.
A seasoned hospitality professional, Cornwellās experience is focused on boutique property management. Her work experience includes the Pelican Eyes Piedras y Olas Resort in Nicaragua, where she made non-profit partnerships a focus of her work. Previously, she was Hotel Manager at Hotel La Casa del Mundo on Lake AtitlĆ”n, where she also collaborated on menu development.
