IRVINE, Calif. (June 14, 2017) – Pacific Hospitality Group (PHG) announces the appointment of Robb Walker as its chief operating officer and Scott Meldrum as chief marketing officer. Walker will oversee the operational aspects of the company’s 12 hospitality assets, which include the Meritage Collection, a portfolio of lifestyle and luxury properties, and branded properties under the AC Hotels by Marriott®, DoubleTree by HiltonTM and Wyndham flags. Meldrum will be responsible for driving the marketing efforts for PHG and all its affiliated companies.
With more than 30 years of experience leading first-class operations in the hotel industry, Walker welcomes his new role after serving one year as vice president of operations for the Meritage Collection. He succeeds Steve Arnold who has elected to resign to pursue new opportunities after a successful 15-year career with the company. Arnold will remain a key partner and investor in several of PHG’s key properties, and the company’s CEO Tim Busch will assume the title of president.

Before joining PHG, Walker was senior vice president of operations at SilverBirch Hotels and Resorts and provided strategic leadership to a portfolio of branded and independent properties while leading several high-impact development and repositioning projects. Walker also spent five years with Dolce International as regional vice president overseeing the resort and hotel operations in the U.S. Southwest and five years with Benchmark Hospitality as resident and general manager in resort destinations in Oahu, Hawaii and Lake Tahoe, California.
As a digital marketing and social media veteran, Scott Meldrum has provided global marketing strategy and media solutions for leading brands in the automotive, entertainment and hospitality industries. Leveraging 20 years of interactive experience, he has delivered award-winning digital advertising and social media campaigns for global brands, including Starbucks, MGM Resorts, Kia Motors, Marriott International and Disney Pixar. Before joining PHG, Meldrum was executive vice president of strategy for Initiative, an Interpublic Group company, where he led a team of 75 media strategists managing a yearly media portfolio more than $2 Billion.
