Saratoga Springs, NY – April 11, 2018 – The Adelphi Hospitality Group (AHG) is excited to announce that the esteemed Chef David Burke has joined the team at The Adelphi Hotel and Salt & Char as Culinary Director, overseeing all food and beverage operations. Chef Burke joined the hotel this month and is currently working to refine the elevated dining experience at the restaurants as well as catering and in-room dining services. Chef Burke and his culinary team will reveal enhanced menus that will echo his signature style for The Adelphi Hotel’s restaurant concepts, The Blue Hen and Morrissey’s Lounge, as well as the adjacent Salt & Char. Details on the enhancements will be announced at a later date.

The Adelphi Hotel features a collection of curated event spaces that include the new 2,300 square foot Grand Ballroom, which can accommodate large events when combined with The Blue Hen for weddings or conventions. Chef Burke will work closely with the property’s Director of Events, Connie Slocum, to create extraordinary catering menus and memorable experiences. The hotel’s Drawing Room is ideal for cocktail receptions and seated dinners while the iconic Library offers guests flexible space for dinner parties and private celebrations.

Originally built in 1877, The Adelphi Hotel boasts of a vivid, modern reimagining of classic Victorian luxury following a five-year renovation.
