Washington D.C., October 12, 2015 – In exciting news, the Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS) is pleased to announce that it will be working with the former Hotel Equity & Lender Perspectives (HELP) Conference co-chairs, James F. O’Connell, Chad Crandell, and Ken Wilson, to bring one of its Summer Update programs to Boston in July of 2016.
‘We are delighted to be working with Jim, Chad, and Ken, to bring ALIS Summer Update to Boston,” stated Jim Burba, president of BHN and chair of ALIS. “They are well respected hotel investment executives and also know what the latest trends and opportunities are in the New England region. ALIS Summer Update Boston will be a more robust Summer Update event, but will be similar in its focus of getting the ALIS community together to celebrate summer. We hope to capitalize on some of the uniquely Boston vibe that was embodied in the former HELP Conference.”
Founded in 2011, the HELP Conference was a two-day hotel investment conference focused on debt, equity, and the issues surrounding the value of hotel investments such as capital sources, creative financing options, and growth markets in the lodging sector. The conference was held annually in April in Boston, MA.
“The Boston/New England region is a very strong, well-healed, hospitality investment market, and while HELP no longer exists, we are happy to roll our efforts into making the ALIS Summer Update Boston event a success,” stated James F. O’Connell, principal of O’Connell Hospitality Group LLC and former co-chair of the HELP Conference.
With programs being held at rotating locations across the Unites States, ALIS Summer Update provides another opportunity to network with the hotel investment community. Additional information on the ALIS Summer Update 2016 dates and locations will be announced in early 2016. Please visit the ALIS website for additional information, www.ALISconference.com.
ALIS Summer Update is co-hosted by Burba Hotel Network (BHN) and the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA). Proceeds benefit the educational, research, and training missions of the Educational Institute (EI) of the American Hotel & Lodging Education Foundation (AH&LEF), AH&LA’s not-for-profit affiliate.
