Former Origin Hotel Raleigh to Begin Conversion to Marriott Tribute Portfolio Hotel
Raleigh, N.C., April 27, 2022—Benchmark Pyramid today announced the company has assumed management of the 126-room Hotel 83 in Raleigh, N.C. Benchmark Pyramid also will oversee the conversion of the Hotel 83 (a former Origin Hotel) to a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Marriott’s upscale collection brand of independent, boutique hotels. The conversion process is expected to be completed by late Summer.
Located at the intersection of the Warehouse and Glenwood South districts in downtown Raleigh, the seven-story hotel is within walking distance of the North Carolina State Capitol and Raleigh Union Station. Guest rooms are outfitted with luxury linens, locally inspired décor and an array of convenient, contemporary amenities. Guests may enjoy 800 square feet of meeting space, a state-of-the-art fitness center, retail area with locally sourced gifts and high-speed Wi-Fi. The hotel also houses “Good Day Good Night,” a neighborhood restaurant that utilizes the best local ingredients from North Carolina farmers, fishermen and culinary purveyors.
