Clear Sky Software, Inc. ® announced today that the Raleigh Marriott City Center Hotel earlier this year implemented Clear Sky Software’s beverage inventory control system. The City Center selected Clear Sky Software to help control all beer, liquor and wine inventory. Called Clear Sky BEVERAGE, this system is a comprehensive, perpetual inventory system that tracks and controls all beverage products. Functions include purchasing, receiving, outlet transfers/issues/returns and physical inventory. Also installed is Clear Sky’s Interface to Fintech and Micros Simphony POS System. The Fintech interface all but automates the beverage receiving process by providing automatic cost updates and eliminating many data entry tasks. The interface to Micros Simphony allows users to import revenue dollars for producing true beverage cost reports by location, category or product. Additional features allow management to report product fast-movers, slow- movers, cost variances, and order/vendor discrepancies. An expanded event management module is also part of the core system installed at the Raleigh Marriott. This bar code-based software, hardware, and services combination is helping The Raleigh Marriott City Center manage their entire beverage inventory with more efficiency and maintain lower beverage costs.
