Appointment Positions Company for Technology Growth and Expansion
CHICAGO (September 7, 2016) – Cloud5 Communications, a leading provider of unified network communications, HSIA, and guest engagement solutions with over a million hospitality users, today announced that it has tapped hospitality industry change agent Mark Holzberg as its Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. Holzberg has overall executive management responsibility for Cloud5’s technology business as well as corporate marketing and brand evolution across the Cloud5 organization worldwide.

Holzberg has over two decades of experience building and running companies and business units in the hospitality technology space. His experience includes serving as CEO of Lorica Solutions, a premier IP technology and managed services company, and leading XETA Hospitality Solutions, a strategic business unit of XETA Technologies, an enterprise communications and network managed services company. After facilitating its acquisition of Lorica, he managed XETA through its ultimate acquisition by Windstream Communications. He has directed company pivot and expansion strategies as Swisscom Hospitality’s leader for the Americas and Global Managed Services and as TravelCLICK’s first CFO during a period of dramatic growth. Holzberg has also served as President of Bartech, The Americas; CEO of AlphaNet Hospitality Systems and as a consultant engaged in industry related M&A and corporate development. Most recently, he was Chief Global Sales Officer at London-based iRiS Software Systems. Holzberg is a graduate of George Washington University and is located in Chicago.
