Four Seasons Resort Seychelles welcomes General Manager Renan Astolpho, who has spent the past four years developing his career with Four Seasons properties in Dubai. Astolpho will take the reins of this secluded beachfront oasis with an initial focus on two suite renovations. With an adept knowledge built in award-winning hotels and resorts in and outside of the brand’s portfolio, Astolpho brings a breadth of luxury hospitality experience, a deep respect for the destination’s natural flair and an intimate understanding of the importance of community to his new role.
“I am honoured to join the experienced and gracious team here at Four Seasons Resort Seychelles and equally thrilled to play an integral role in the Resort’s transformative journey, which is already underway,” says Astolpho. “As we embark on this road to success, the Resort’s unparalleled service, the genuine warmth of the team, and the authentic experiences that capture a deep sense of place will guide our storytelling and further elevate the already enchanting ambiance here on Petite Anse.”
Before making the move to Seychelles, Astolpho most recently served as the Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre, where he was instrumental in the re-opening of the downtown property, having been promoted from Director of Food and Beverage at Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach. Prior to Dubai, Astolpho held the position of director of food and beverage at The Ritz-Carlton Osaka, director of food and beverage at Bulgari Resort Bali, and director of restaurants at The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai. Previous management experience also includes roles at St. Regis Bangkok and St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel London.
A native of Brazil, Astolpho speaks three languages, Portuguese, Italian, and English. When not at the Resort, Astolpho enjoys spending time with his wife, travelling, cooking, watching football, and admiring the natural beauty of Mahé’s show-stopping sunsets.
