NASHVILLE, TN. (May 2, 2023) – TownePlace Suites Nashville Downtown/Capitol District is thrilled to announce that Hanif Mohammad is now serving as Executive Chef, overseeing all food & beverage operations at the hotel.
Mohammad has spent the last 23+ years at the Nashville Airport Marriott, serving as Executive Chef for the past 14 years. A member of the American Culinary Federation and a dynamic leader, Mohammad managed a team of 35 people at the Nashville Airport Marriott and oversaw all food & beverage for four restaurant outlets and the catering operations for 25,000 square feet of event space.
Since joining the TownPlace Suites Nashville Downtown/Capitol District team this spring, Mohammad has already created a new menu for Moonshot Coffee Bar, which is reopening on Thursday, May 18th.
Located on the ground floor of the hotel, Moonshot serves high-quality coffee from environmentally responsible farms that is roasted onsite, along with a variety of fresh baked local treats and smoothies. Open daily from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m., the Moonshot menu features new artisanal breakfast dishes including Avocado Toast, an Egg White Frittata and a Pearl Sugar Waffle.
