Atlanta-based Hospitality Lodging Systems (HLS) continues to grow its portfolio of properties with the addition of three new Budgetel hotels, all in Alabama and all scheduled to open in June.
The three new Budgetel properties are:
- Birmingham — 130 rooms, converted from independent
- Hoover, located in the southern suburbs of Birmingham — 130 rooms, converted from independent
- Mobile — 65 rooms, converted from Econo Lodge
“Our family of brands is attractive to owners who want to take back control of their franchise contract — with more operating freedom, fewer mandated amenities, and stronger cash flow,” says Doug Collins, Chairman and CEO of HLS. “We offer lots of upside and no downside.”
HLS, which began operation 19 months ago with 19 Budgetel hotels, now has 43 properties: 32 Budgetel hotels, five Haven Hotels, and six AmeriVu hotels.
