In-Person Industry Event Will be Held June 9-11 in Nashville

ATLANTA, March 17, 2021 – Hospitality Upgrade Magazine has announced that its 16th Annual Executive Vendor Summit (EVS) will be held in person at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville, Tenn., from June 9-11, 2021. The Executive Vendor Summit is a unique invitation-only industry event that brings together senior technology executives from the hospitality industry for learning, thought leadership and networking.

The host hotel is located in Nashville’s popular West End, across from Vanderbilt University and just minutes from the city’s most renowned attractions. The Loews Vanderbilt is a modern and exciting property where comfort and Southern hospitality converge to offer a unique and friendly experience.

Hospitality Upgrade and the event hotel are taking extra precautions for the group’s safety. The hotel has published its ‘Welcoming You Like Family’ protocols which can be found online. In addition, Nashville was recently named a ‘Safe Travels Destination’ by the World Travel and Tourism Council, making it one of only two destinations in the United States to achieve the designation.

In an industry based on competition as much as partnerships, the Executive Vendor Summit offers vendor executives a rare combination of networking, social events and program content in a relaxed atmosphere, with no customers and no selling. “In my conversations with those in the vendor community, executives tell me they are truly excited about gathering at a face-to-face industry event in June,” said Hospitality Upgrade CEO and Publisher Rich Siegel. “EVS is for the vendor community, but it’s amazing how many hoteliers want to join us this year. This event allows attendees to develop and foster critical relationships with their peers, as well as focus on both challenges and opportunities in the industry.”

The 2021 agenda will include many popular sessions of previous events, including the CIO panel and a special industry association CEO panel. This year’s CIO panelists include Dan Kornick with Loews Hotels & Co., Jeff Bzdawka with Hyatt, Scott Strickland with Wyndham Hotels and Resorts and Andrew Arthurs of Aimbridge Hospitality. The association panel will include Mike Blake with HTNG, Bob Gilbert with HSMAI and Frank Wolfe with HFTP. Details regarding EVS registration and agenda will be announced soon.

Hospitality Upgrade is continuing its partnership with Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) for this year’s event and program. “The Executive Vendor Summit is the world’s only hospitality technology supplier invitational event, and Hospitality Upgrade has done a phenomenal job, both by supplying stellar education and facilitating a number of hospitality technology companies’ mergers, acquisitions and, most importantly, partnerships,” said HFTP CEO Frank Wolfe.

Past attendees include many of the leading property management companies such as Oracle, Agilysys, Infor, Maestro PMS, ResortSuite, Jonas Chorum and Springer-Miller Systems.
