New Luxury Hotel Selects Systems for Property Management, POS, Procurement
ALPHARETTA, GA. – June 15, 2015 – Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading global provider of next-generation hospitality software solutions and services, today announced that Hotel Granduca Austin, in Austin, Texas, has selected a comprehensive solution suite – including Agilysys systems for property management, point-of-sale and inventory and procurement – to streamline operations and deliver exceptional guest service. The luxury boutique hotel, which already has received the exclusive The Leading Hotels of the World designation, is scheduled to open later this year.

Hotel Granduca Austin is implementing the following solutions from Agilysys:
- Visual One™ PMS, a comprehensive and fully integrated property management system that offers a wide range of features and functionality, including front office operations, housekeeping, guest history, reservations management and more. Its user-friendly screens are laid out in a logical and understandable format, with quick-feature icons and drag-and-drop capabilities. The solution offers optional modules for accounting, activities, club management, comp accounting, condo accounting, guest marketing, sales and catering and spa management. Other features include a rate and availability calculator, enhanced guest stay search screens, integrated reporting and an online shopping cart than allows guests to book rooms, spa appointments, tee times and activities with a single itinerary.
- InfoGenesis™ POS, an industry-leading point-of-sale solution that combines an easy-to-use touchscreen terminal application with powerful reporting and configuration capabilities. The system is easy to set up and maintain, with scalable architecture that enables customers to add workstations without having to build out expensive infrastructure. The software, which easily integrates with many other applications, is designed to process transactions in the highest volume environments without any loss of performance at the point of sale. The system’s rare offline capabilities allow the POS terminal to perform well, even during intermittent server or network outages. InfoGenesis POS features real-time reporting capabilities, packages and prix fixe menus, signature capture and multi-language capability and is available as an on-premises or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution.
- Eatec®, a full-featured inventory and procurement system designed specifically for the hospitality and foodservice industries. Along with its core purchasing, inventory, recipe, forecasting, production and sales analysis functions, the system also offers modules for buffet management, catering, cycle planning, nutrition and retail management, allowing customers to construct the exact set of features they need. The solution also offers more than 400 standard reports, which enable purchasing staff to make more informed and intelligent business decisions.

Hotel Granduca Austin, the second property to bear the ‘Granduca’ brand name, will be the capital city’s most luxurious boutique hotel. Located atop a hillside in the Westlake area of Austin, the Italian-style property will feature 194 guestrooms and suites, five-star restaurant, fitness center, billiard room, bar, pool and beautifully landscaped courtyard. In addition, the hotel will include approximately 8,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Hotel Granduca Austin is scheduled to open in October 2015.
