New iHome® bedside clock is capable of wirelessly powering all Qi charging devices including all newer Samsung and iPhone models; includes two rapid-charge USB ports, Bluetooth Speaker, Alarm Clock with Single Day Alarm and more; Visit Booth #3137 Nov. 11 and 12 in New York
Rahway, N.J. (November 6, 2018) — Hotel Technologies Inc. will unveil a new iHome® Qi wireless charging solution at HX: The Hotel Experience next month that will power all Qi charging devices including newer iPhones, Samsung Galaxy phones, and others. With wireless charging for mobile devices in guestrooms becoming a standard amenity, the HW4 Qi Wireless Charging bedside alarm clock enables guests to simply place their mobile devices on the unit’s flat-top charging pad. The unit features dual rapid charging USB ports, Bluetooth Stereo Speaker, Alarm Clock and iHome’s coveted Single Day Alarm. The HW4 Qi Wireless Charging solution will be on display Nov. 11 and 12 in Booth 3137 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York.
“Charging mobile devices in the guest room can be a real headache for travelers, especially with different devices requiring charging cables that are unique to each smartphone or tablet,” said Ely Ashkenazi, President of Hotel Technologies. “To address this problem, Hotel Technologies has developed an iHome solution that features universal charging. By adding the Qi Wireless platform to the new iHome HW4, we are alleviating issues for guests and providing a more frictionless experience. The iHome HW4 enables hotel guests to charge devices simply by setting them on the surface of this attractive and versatile bedside amenity.”
To make the HW4 agnostic in its charging capability, Hotel Technologies added two independent rapid charge 2.4 amp USB ports to charge a variety of electronics extremely fast. The Bluetooth Stereo speaker enables guests to stream music wirelessly from their Bluetooth-enabled devices and wake to Bluetooth audio or a tone. The HW4 is also equipped with iHome’s popular Single Day Alarm that prevents unwanted alarms sounding from previous guests while its Sure Alarm battery backup maintains clock setting and ensures alarm wake time in case of power failures.
“With more than 50 million devices supporting wireless charging, according to the Wireless Charging Consortium, we believe the HW4 is the solution hoteliers have been looking for to meet travelers demands” Ashkenazi said. We encourage everyone attending HX to visit us in Booth 3137 to experience everything the HW4 has to offer.”
