CHARLOTTE, North Carolina – September 2, 2021 – Clear Sky Software, Inc. ® announced today that The Oakland Marriott City Center has expanded its use of Clear Sky’s inventory control systems.  This California hotel has been a customer of Clear Sky Software for many years utilizing the company’s perpetual inventory system in the beverage department.  The decision was made to extend this technology out to the culinary department and take advantage of Clear Sky’s Food Inventory System.  Now the hotel has one vendor and one system for tracking and controlling all food and beverage products.  Features include purchasing, receiving, storeroom requisition, transfers, physical inventory, and a rich and flexible reporting system.  The Oakland Marriott City Center also implemented Clear Sky’s interface to US Foods.  This automates the receiving of all products from this vendor and provides automatic cost updates thus saving countless hours and increasing accuracy.  This bar code-based software, hardware, and services combination is helping The City Center gain better control over their food and beverage inventory while maintaining low food and beverage costs.
