Clear Sky Software, Inc. ® announced today that the Springfield Marriott Downtown, managed by Aimbridge Hospitality, has implemented the company’s food & beverage inventory management software. Located in Springfield, Massachusetts, the Springfield Marriott Downtown selected Clear Sky Software to help control all alcohol and food products. Called Clear Sky FOOD & BEVERAGE, this system is a comprehensive, perpetual inventory system that tracks and controls all F&B products. Functions include purchasing, receiving, outlet transfers/issues/returns and physical inventory. Additional features allow management to report product fast-movers, slow- movers, cost variances, and order/vendor discrepancies. An expanded event management module is also part of the core system installed in Springfield. Integration to Performance Food Group and US Foods allows for automatic receiving and cost updates of products received from these vendors. This bar code-based software, hardware, and services combination is helping the Springfield Marriott manage their F&B inventory with more efficiency and maintain lower food and beverage costs.
