AUSTIN, Texas (March 21, 2019) – Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa announces the appointment of Jackie Flory as director of the property’s Mokara Spa, which along with the rest of Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa, is currently undergoing a significant $150-million renovation. In this role, Flory will oversee the overall operational function and management of Mokara Spa.

An Omni veteran, Flory most recently served as Spa Director at the original Mokara Hotel & Spa in San Antonio, Texas and while there, was named Manager of the Year in 2016. Prior to that, Flory was Spa Director at Lake Austin Resort and Spa in Austin, Texas and at the Omni Nashville Hotel. Flory received her Bachelor of Science in Restaurant, Hotel & Institution Management at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.

Once re-opened in May 2019, Omni Barton Creek’s Mokara Spa will be a 13,000 square-foot sanctuary that takes inspiration from the nearby waterways, creeks and springs of the iconic Texas Hill Country. The full-service spa will feature a salon offering hair and nail services as well as 17 treatment rooms and three couples’ treatment rooms. Arnica Restoration Massage An ancient herbal remedy, arnica has been used throughout Europe as well as North and South America for centuries to help alleviate pain. This rejuvenating treatment incorporates the healing properties of arnica; by utilizing stimulating massage oil followed by warm compresses and an application of arnica gel. Healing Waters Facial Indulgence, luxury and precisely coordinated active ingredients are the philosophy of this treatment.
