More than 10 properties are soon to go LIVE with the RoamBOOST Distributed Antenna System; DAS amplifies cell phone signals to ensure no disruption of mobile phone calls
Boston, Mass. — April 12, 2016 — Business at DAS integrator, RoamBOOST, is booming, with more than 10 orders contracted in the first quarter of 2016 for the company’s custom cellular enhancement solutions. Planned installations of RoamBOOST include:
► 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge in New York New property requiring installation of the entire building.
► Hilton Vancouver in Washington Existing property requiring installation on floors 1 and 2 only in order to cover restaurant, meeting spaces and back of house.
► Hilton Portland in Oregon Existing property requiring installation in both the Main Building and Executive Tower to cover all meeting spaces.
► Courtyard by Marriott St. Augustine in Florida New property requiring installation of the first floor, which includes public spaces, meeting rooms and food and beverage.
► Playa Largo Resort & Spa Key Largo in Florida New property requiring installation of the entire main building.
RoamBOOST works with its clients to deliver superior mobile phone signal based on their coverage, budget and most importantly type of building. This RF (Radio Frequency) technology enables properties to offer customers a high level of service, which includes the necessity of connectivity. Users can typically expect a two- to three-bar improvement on their mobile devices for both 3G voice and 4G data capabilities across all network carrier platforms.
“These new customer signings for the first quarter provide a huge endorsement for the success of our growing RoamBOOST division since our launch five years ago,” said Andrew Sanders, COO for RoamingAround, the RoamBOOST parent company. “We ensure a customized approach to every system so guests and staff can easily utilize mobile services property wide – whether they are inside or outside the building. This adoption of cellular infrastructure across the U.S. is proof that buildings, whether it’s during the construction phase or requires a retrofit to the existing property, require more connectivity than just Wi-Fi.”
