(Nassau, The Bahamas – July 26, 2023) – Rosewood Baha Mar announces the appointment of Alvaro Acebal to director of food and beverage. Acebal brings 24 years of global experience in the luxury sector to his new role in The Bahamas.

In his new role, Acebal is responsible for developing one-of-a-kind dining experiences across the resort. He works closely with Rosewood chefs to procure the best Bahamian ingredients from land and sea. Acebal oversees the day-to-day operations of all Rosewood Baha Mar food and beverage concepts, including the hotel’s in-room dining, pool and beach dining, events, and signature restaurants: Café Boulud The Bahamas, Costa, Manor Bar, and The Library.
Prior to joining Rosewood Baha Mar, Acebal worked with luxury brands such as Ritz-Carlton, Beau Rivage, Cavalli Club, The Datai, InterContinental, Fairmont, and Four Seasons Riyadh. Acebal services all of Rosewood Baha Mar’s dining outlets including Café Boulud, Costa, Manor Bar, and The Library.
Acebal holds a degree in Business Administration from Universitas Nebrissensis, Madrid, and a Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality Management from Les Roches in Switzerland. He also holds a Master’s in Business Finance from The European University, Madrid.
