Expanded Use of Agilysys Includes Point-of-Sale and Document Management Systems
ALPHARETTA, GA. — Feb. 10, 2016 — Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading global provider of next-generation hospitality software solutions and services, today announced that Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. in Miami has selected the InfoGenesis® POS and DataMagine™ systems to optimize workflow efficiency and enhance guest service on its two newest ships — Harmony of the Seas and Ovation of the Seas. With these additions, 37 Royal Caribbean vessels now use Agilysys solutions.
A longtime Agilysys customer, Royal Caribbean wanted to expand its use of the company's point-of-sale and document management systems at it launches its newest ships. InfoGenesis POS provides fast and secure processing of passenger payment transactions across the ships’ venues, while DataMagine automatically archives receipts and electronically captures and stores guest activity waivers and other documentation for safety and legal purposes. Simplifying these operations allows the ships' crews to focus on delivering a world-class cruise experience.

DataMagine is a document management system that transforms paper records into electronic images that are then archived for on-demand access. The flexible solution allows users to view many documents simultaneously and index them in a variety of ways, while its imaging module integrates seamlessly with business applications. Features include electronic document routing, instant data delivery, individual permission levels and remote data access. Optional modules include electronic registration, signature capture and ID scanning.
