Joining the hotel are General Manager Mark Ive, Director of Sales and Marketing Joe Alegre and Director of Marketing Diana Haven. These strategic hires represent a significant milestone in Signia by Hilton San Jose’s commitment to fostering growth, innovation, and continually elevating the guest experience.

General Manager Mark Ive

An industry veteran with more than 35 years of leadership experience, Ive joins the property as general manager. With former roles including hotel manager of the Hilton Toronto, general manager of the Renaissance Toronto and most recently general manager of Hilton Oakland Airport, Ive’s background in operational excellence will help drive efficiency across departments, while his diverse experience will continue to focus on guest programming, satisfaction, and creating an overall elevated experience.

Director of Sales and Marketing Joe Alegre

The property also welcomes Joe Alegre as director of sales and marketing. Alegre brings an extensive sales background and expertise across the West Coast region with more than 30 years’ experience. Formerly with a variety of esteemed brands including Hyatt, Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Curio Collection by Hilton, Autograph Collection and several independent hospitality groups, Alegre’s progressive and creative approach, coupled with a deep understanding of marketing dynamics, will reinforce Signia by Hilton San Jose’s robust client relationships, accelerate revenue generation and reinforce the property’s competitive edge.

Director of Marketing Diana Haven

As part of the leadership expansion, Signia by Hilton San Jose introduces Diana Haven as the property’s new director of marketing. Founder of Ellipses Public Relations and the former director of public relations for The Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay, Diana brings a wealth of expertise to the table with more than 25 years of award-winning experience in the hospitality industry, event production and broadcast media. She has an exceptional track record for developing and executing successful marketing as well as public relations strategies for destinations, restaurant groups and hotels. With an emphasis on community relations and expanding reach to new audiences, her visionary approach to branding, digital marketing, communication and guest engagement will play a pivotal role in elevating the property’s market position within the destination.
