Jackson Hole, Wyoming – November 8, 2021 – Snow King Resort, located in the heart of Jackson, has appointed Christopher Park as Executive Chef. General Manager Gregg Fracassa made the announcement.
“We’re pleased to welcome Chris to Snow King Resort,” said Fracassa. “His talent and creativity as an acclaimed chef, coupled with his extensive experience in food and beverage management in notable ski destinations, make him an integral member of our culinary team.”
As Executive Chef, Park will be responsible for overseeing a staff of 40 associates, the daily operations of the resort’s signature restaurant Haydens Post, banquet kitchen and room service, as well as food revenues and product purchasing. Park will also be responsible for creating and implementing seasonal restaurant and holiday menus throughout the year.
Park was most recently Executive Chef for Grand Targhee Mountain Resort in Wyoming, and prior to that was Executive Chef for Powder Mountain in Utah. He has held similar positions in Crested Butte, CO., and Mount Rainier National Park in WA. Under Park’s leadership as Executive Chef of the acclaimed Tree Room at Sundance Resort, the outlet earned both Mobil Four Star and AAA Four Diamond status. Park was also asked to represent the state of Colorado Ski Industry for fine dining, at the acclaimed James Beard House in New York City, and was named one of the Top Grilling Chefs in North America by Outside Magazine. Park’s years of training and hands-on experience is a culmination of serving extensive apprenticeships under multiple French chefs whose restaurants earned Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond awards.
