He will lead the hotel’s sales and marketing initiatives, capitalize on revenue opportunities, and ensure that The Elms Hotel and Spa continues to exceed guest expectations. Johnson brings over twenty five years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry with a wealth of expertise in sales, business development, and hotel operations to the role.

Johnson’s career journey has been marked by a relentless pursuit of excellence in guest service and operational profitability. Prior to this position, he served as Director of Sales, Marketing and Events at Hyatt Place Hotel and Conference Center in Kansas City for nearly three years. Before joining the Hyatt family, Johnson held a leadership position with Peachtree Hotel Group leading all sales efforts and above property support for a portfolio of three hotel brands and eleven Peachtree Hotels including Courtyard by Marriott, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn, Aloft Hotel, and Hotel Indigo.

Throughout his career, Johnson has demonstrated outstanding ability in managing high-volume initiatives and teams across multiple locations without compromising on service quality and profitability. His strong understanding of revenue generation and operational profitability, coupled with his expertise in identifying emerging market trends, will be invaluable assets to The Elms Hotel and Spa.
