JENNER, CA – October 18, 2021 – Timber Cove Resort, located just off California’s Highway 1, two hours north of San Francisco, welcomes Jason Reiplinger as managing director and Brendalee Vialpando as executive chef. The esteemed Sonoma Coast boutique resort has been recognized among the top 10 resorts in Northern California by Condé Nast Traveler readers.
With close to 20 years of hospitality experience, Reiplinger is a proven leader who brings strong business acumen and a sense of community to Timber Cove. As the newly appointed managing director, Reiplinger will oversee all aspects of the property, providing leadership and strategic direction for the resort, food and beverage, guest services, operations and asset management. Prior to joining Timber Cove Reiplinger spent seven years with Woodside Hotel Group, most recently as managing director at the AAA Four Diamond Bodega Bay Lodge. Prior to joining the Woodside Hotel Group, he held a variety of senior leadership roles at award-winning properties, including general manager of Roka Akor and Roka Bar, director at Bellagio Resort & Casino, where he achieved annual revenue of over $30M and director of food & beverage for San Francisco’s The Battery Hotel & Private Members Club, overseeing two restaurants and four bars.
As managing director, Reiplinger will also look to elevate the guest experience at Timber Cove, exceeding expectations through adding even more memorable moments and thoughtful touches that reflect the uniqueness of the resort. “I look forward to building upon the Timber Cove Resort reputation and further exceeding guest expectations,” said Reiplinger. In his new role Reiplinger will also oversee management of The Setting Inn, Napa Valley and The Setting Inn, Willamette Valley, Oregon, which are both managed by Ironwave Hospitality Management.
Brendalee Vialpando also joins Timber Cove from the Woodside Hotel Group where she most recently served as executive chef at Bodega Bay Lodge. Her experience also includes roles as sous chef at TORC in Napa and chef de partie at Julian Serrano Restaurant and L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon, both in Las Vegas. As executive chef she will lead the Coast Kitchen team in expanding the restaurant’s menu offerings with a greater focus on seafood and vegetable-forward dishes and collaborating with local fisherman, farmers and ranchers. In-room dining and banquets will also be elevated under Vialpando’s direction.
