DALLAS – March 13, 2017 – Celia Karseno has been promoted to vice president of technology utilization for UniFocus, the Dallas-based provider of the service industry’s most comprehensive workforce management systems and tools. In her new role, Karseno will ensure that UniFocus’ partners use its technologies to optimal benefit, increasing the value of their investment, while also facilitating upgrades and new product rollouts to existing partners.
Karseno brings 25 years of hospitality, training and account management experience to her position. This includes nine years at UniFocus in two separate tenures.
“Celia has long been a valued member of the UniFocus team, and one of a number of former employees that we’ve been fortunate to have ‘boomerang’ in recent years,” said UniFocus Chairman and CEO Mark Heymann. “She first joined in 2002 as a national sales director before moving into account management for two years in 2004. Since her return five years ago to manage partner relationships for our Survey Solutions, she has proven to be a capable leader and her excellent interpersonal skills are an asset both to her colleagues and our business partners. We are delighted to elevate her role at UniFocus and look forward to her continued contributions.”
Before her return to UniFocus in 2012, Karseno served as a training manager for LQ Management, LLC, which operates and provides franchise services to more than 800 hotels under the La Quinta Inn and La Quinta Inn & Suites brands. For five years prior, she was an account executive at AchieveGlobal, a sales training and development firm based in Tampa that is now part of Miller Heiman Group.
Karseno’s experience also includes serving as regional training consultant for Signature Worldwide and a sales and catering trainer for Bristol Hotels & Resorts.
A graduate of Texas A&M University, Karseno has a B.S. degree in recreation and tourism.
