Big data provider expands reach by enabling over 31 million connections between July and September, bolstering targeted advertisement capabilities and driving higher revenue for customers.
Alpharetta, GA — November 2, 2021 — Zoox Smart Data (“Zoox”), an international provider of technological solutions that harnesses big data to build customer profiles from existing Wi-Fi networks, has released its third set of internet traffic results, demonstrating a prolonged growth of online traffic connections following two successful quarters. Measured from July 1 to September 30, the analytics were compiled from Zoox-enabled customers, including major travel and hospitality organizations around the world.
Zoox recorded a total of 31,949,548 consumer connections, with 1,671,928 of those being first-time Zoox-enabled network users. On September 17 alone, 381,593 new user connections were recorded. Each connection represented an opportunity for Zoox customers to promote offerings based on individual consumer interests, generating maximum revenue-earning potential. This is achieved through Zoox’s advanced consumer and guest profile-building abilities, which are updated every time that a user connects their devices to one of the thousands of Zoox-enabled hotspots. Other online traffic analytics that further demonstrate Zoox’s ability to tailor advertising campaigns based on a consumer’s unique background include:
- 36 percent of connections were made by those identifying as male.
- 45 percent identified as female.
- 30 percent identified as belonging to the 31-40 age group.
- 90 percent of users connected through a mobile device.
- The average user connection time was 118 minutes.
“The smart use of data is essential in generating revenue throughout the travel industry’s recovery, particularly as consumers continue to expect more personalized experiences,” said David Tyre, VP of Business Development – North America for Zoox. “Our quarterly statics, which continues to report an increasing number of connections, demonstrate our ability to successfully target consumers and boost our customers’ bottom lines. As we move into the final quarter of the year, we look forward to delivering more business with the technological tools they need to emerge from the industry’s recovery successfully.”
