Park City, Utah, August 20th, 2020 – GCommerce, a hospitality digital marketing agency, has partnered with Las Terrazas Resort & Residences to design and develop a custom website for the resort. The property is located on the sandy beaches of Belize’s largest island, Ambergris Caye. The newly improved resort website features the resort’s one-of-a-kind dining and spa experiences as well as activities on the resort and across the island.
The goal was to build a website design that captured the resort’s prestigious standing on the island by creating a clean, elegant design. Emphasizing the privacy and seclusion and the many activities available to guests were the most important aspects of the design. On top of highlighting the authentic experiences offered at the resort, the website also needed to be built to work as the primary sales tool for the Las Terrazas sales team. Marketing goals included creating a user-friendly website that would increase RFP and booking submissions for weddings, meetings and events, group trips, and real estate. Visitor data and ecommerce analytics were analyzed to improve the user experience and digital marketing performance to achieve these goals.

Las Terrazas Resort & Residences website was deliberately designed and developed to better promote the resort’s competitive advantages. Located on the largest “private” beachfront on the island, the site uses vibrant experiential and lifestyle imagery and design to draw users in to learn more about the one-of-a-kind resort.
The new resort website is built on GCommerce’s WordPress code-base, Stile, which maintains the design’s integrity while making it easy for the content editor to adjust on the fly. Stile automatically incorporates schema for enhanced data markup as well as the ability to create new modules all within the content management system.
