(Exeter, N.H.) — Hay Creek Hotels announces Josh Hamlin as Director of Food and Beverage at Hotel Hartness in Greenville, South Carolina. In this role he will oversee Hotel Hartness’ food and beverage department to include the fine-dining restaurant Patterson Kitchen + Bar, The Captain, an intimate bar located inside the Hartness Manor, the full-service Spa H, and over 16,000 square feet of dedicated space for meetings and events. A boutique hotel uniquely located within the 449-acre award-winning Hartness community, Hotel Hartness will offer a luxurious and idyllic retreat in proximity to downtown Greenville. Hotel Hartness is set to open this winter and the property’s debut will mark Hay Creek Hotels’ first property in upstate South Carolina.

As Food and Beverage Director, Hamlin will lead the food and beverage program at Hotel Hartness, including building the culinary service teams to deliver a superior and distinct dining experience across all the of property’s dining outlets. He will also collaborate with Executive Chef Tanner Marino to create menus for Patterson Kitchen + Bar, The Captain, and Spa H, in addition to banquet menus.

Hamlin brings with him nearly two decades of experience in managing food and beverage operations for several notable hotels and resorts. He comes to Hotel Hartness most recently from Spring Hill Suites Marriott & Towneplace Suites in Winter Garden, Florida where he served as Complex Director of Food and Beverage for the 496-room complex with 7,000 square feet of meeting space. Hamlin is no stranger to Greenville and his experience also includes working at Aloft Greenville Downtown where he was integral to its pre-opening and opening success as Director of Food and Beverage. At Aloft, Hamlin also oversaw the development of menus, recipes and signature cocktails for W XYZ® Bar and Re:fuel.
