Honor Comes During Conference Center’s First Full Year of Operation
Basking Ridge, NJ, May 2019 … BENCHMARK® Basking Ridge, a full-service Executive Learning and Development Center, has been named one of the “Best Places to Work in New Jersey” by the state’s noted business paper, NJBIZ. The prestigious award program recognizes and honors the state’s top employers who show a dedication to their employees’ professional growth and quality of life. Managed by BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, the Basking Ridge property is part of the Benchmark Conference Centers brand. Benchmark Basking Ridge ranked # 7 on the list of medium size companies, employing from 50-249 employees. Opened last year, the conference center achieved this award for 2019. It currently employs a staff of 150.

The Best Places to Work in NJ program is a celebration of jobs and employers who provide them. The primary goal of the program is to help companies improve their workplace practices, which in turn, helps attract and retain the best employees, thus ensuring continued business success. Once in the program, the company goes through a two-part survey process designed to pinpoint areas of strength and weakness. The assessment determines the eligibility for the Best Places to Work in NJ list. Best Companies Group manages the survey process and performs the evaluation of the collected data. The list is broken down into three categories: 33 small companies (15-49 employees), 39 medium companies (50-249 employees), and 28 large companies (250+ employees).
