PARK CITY, Utah (August 26, 2020) – Montage Deer Valley has announced the promotion of Christian Ojeda to executive chef. In his new role, Ojeda oversees the wide range of culinary experiences available at the Park City, Utah resort including signature restaurant APEX as well as Burgers & Bourbon, Daly’s Pub & Rec, The Après Lounge, and more.

Ojeda is a longtime veteran of food and beverage operations at Montage Deer Valley, having initially joined the resort as chef de cuisine at APEX in 2014 and three years later as executive sous chef. Ojeda brought an impressive culinary background with him, counting experience at highly acclaimed hotels and restaurants including at Calistoga Ranch in California and Encantado in Santa Fe, New Mexico, both members of the Auberge Resorts Collection. He also worked as executive sous chef at award-winning Geronimo in Santa Fe, and most recently prior to joining Montage Deer Valley, as executive chef at The Sky Lodge in Park City.
Ojeda earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in culinary management from the Art Institute of Colorado and is bilingual in English and Spanish. He has long drawn inspiration from the beauty of the Wasatch Mountains surrounding Montage Deer Valley.
