Four Seasons Resort Nevis, the award-winning resort consistently ranked by travellers and travel experts as one of the top resorts in the Caribbean, has named Antoine Lhomme as the new Director of Food and Beverage. A hospitality industry veteran with 15 years of international food and beverage experience, the appointment marks his first Four Seasons post after a three-year stint as the executive assistant manager in charge of food and beverage at La Samanna, A Belmond Hotel in Saint-Martin.
“I am looking forward to welcoming Antoine to our Four Seasons family,” says Yvette Thomas-Henry, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Nevis. “His passionate and hands-on leadership style, along with a plethora of ideas and innovations and an international expertise in food and beverage will serve us all well here in our Nevisian paradise.”
As Director of Food and Beverage, Antoine will oversee all food and beverage operations, focusing on innovation, creativity and providing extraordinary culinary experiences for guests. He arrives just in time to launch the concepts at On the Dune and Kastawey Beach Bar, as well as to oversee menu enhancements to EsQuilina, crowned monkey RUM BAR and Mango before the Thanksgiving and festive seasons.
A native of France, Antoine was schooled in Switzerland and has been lucky to work on several continents in luxury hotels and resorts as well as the diplomatic world. His career has taken him from Switzerland to China, with Kempinski Hotels; Ghana, where he served as the hospitality and events manager for the Embassy of France; Cambodia, with Heritage Suites Hotels and Alila Villas Koh Russey; and, of course, Saint-Martin.
“Staying relevant with trends, I am continuously aiming to improve efficiencies, profitability and the guest experience,” says Lhomme. “As a passionate hotelier, it is a true honour to join Four Seasons Resort Nevis. I look forward to bringing my experience and fresh perspective to the culinary offerings of this stunning and fascinating property. I look forward to being part of this fantastic team for the coming years.”
Outside of work, Antoine likes to get out on the water with his boating license, keep up with his health and nutrition and sip on fine wines as a WSET Level 2 sommelier.
