LAS VEGAS, NV (March 2, 2020) – Clairvoyix, the leader in enterprise class, hospitality-focused leisure and group marketing automation, recently announced the appointment of Lorie Towsley as the vice president of social media for the Los Angeles chapter of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI).
After serving last year on the Los Angeles HSMAI Chapter social media committee, the HSMAI board was impressed with Towsley’s innovative approach to social channels, culminating in her nomination for the vice president of social media. This appointment is a two-year term.
“Clairvoyix is a big supporter of HSMAI, and we believe Lorie’s appointment to serve the Los Angeles chapter of HSMAI will bring value to both organizations”, said Mike Schmitt, CEO of Clairvoyix. “Lorie is constantly adding to her vast knowledge of social media platforms, and more importantly, how to leverage their audience to drive real revenue to hotels and resorts.”

Additionally, she has earned several digital marketing certifications including a Certified Hospitality Digital Marketer (CHDM) through HSMAI, and Certified Internet Marketer (CIM) though the International Marketing Association. She currently manages leisure and group social media campaigns for Clairvoyix’s numerous client properties.
“I am excited to be a part of such an amazing organization as HSMAI,” Towsley said. “I look forward to expanding our reach, to assisting in educating the future hospitality professionals, and to representing Clairvoyix in my new role. I intend to apply my years of hospitality social media experience to the Los Angeles chapter with the goal of giving them an expanded presence in the digital world.”
