STATELINE, Nev. (July 29, 2020) – The iconic Edgewood Tahoe announced today that Jim Hindman has been named Director of Food and Beverage, where he will oversee the luxury lodge’s three distinct dining destinations: Brooks’ Bar & Deck, The Bistro and Edgewood Restaurant.

Jim brings with him a strong understanding of the industry, strategies, concepts and importance of day to day operations, which stem from over 20 years of culinary operations experience. Most recently serving as director of food and beverage at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento, Hindman is trading in the city for the cobalt blue waters of Lake Tahoe. Additionally, Jim has held positions in multiple other markets and at properties with a number of different food and beverage outlets such as director of food and beverage at Mystic Lake Casino (Prior Lake, MN) and Caesars Entertainment Corporation.
Hindman joins the renowned culinary team at Edgewood, spearheaded by the ever-innovative Executive Chef Lonny Huot, just in time for delectable summer menu rotations at each of the on-site restaurants. The lodge’s beloved culinary destinations include The Bistro, a mountain-chic restaurant where guests are invited to gather and enjoy finely curated seasonal fare, Edgewood Restaurant, which is known for bringing fine dining to new levels overlooking the remarkable South Lake Tahoe shoreline, and the award-winning golf pub, Brooks’ Bar & Deck.
