Parallax available on Webex App Hub for advanced unified communications manageability
CHICAGO, I.L. — June 27, 2023 — Percipia, a telephony and mobility solutions and services provider for the hospitality industry, announced it is expanding its partnership with Cisco by delivering Parallax, a hospitality interface gateway for unified communications, to the Webex platform. This integration for the hospitality market allows administrative call control where customers such as hotels can now deploy Webex extensions for calling in guest rooms with caller-ID upon check-in.

Parallax provides phone systems with hospitality-centric features like guest caller-id, wake-up calls, set and override do-not-disturb, and housekeeping room updates via guest room phones.
In addition, Percipia’s guest room voicemail system Precision VM will also be available through Webex. Precision VM creates a voice mailbox upon guest check-in and allows the mailbox to move with the guest should they choose to switch rooms within the property. Upon check-out, customers have the option to purge or archive voicemails for a period of time determined by the hotel staff.
