WASHINGTON, DC – September 25, 2024 – Peter Ewenson has been appointed director of food & beverage for Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown.  Mark Huntley, general manager and regional vice president for the 413-room luxury property, made the announcement.

In his new role, Ewenson will lead the strategic development of the food and beverage division including Banquets, Juniper Restaurant, Lobby Lounge, the Courtyard, In-Room Dining and Stewarding.

Prior to his new position, he was the assistant director of local catering for Fairmont Le

Château Frontenac in Québec City from 2022 after being promoted from director of Bistro SAM.  He was assistant food and beverage manager for Hotel Quebec from 2019 to 2021.

Previously, Ewenson worked in Calgary in the food & beverage industry as restaurant manager, event planner and maître d’hôtel.  A graduate of University of Calgary, Ewenson completed Cornell University’s advanced hospitality and revenue management course in 2024
